The authors of this piece asked me to restyle their figures to apply Brookings style and improve the visual appearance where I could. In addition to the current Brookings styles, I applied some significant changes to the figure above to make it more readable—transforming the circular shapes to rectangles and adjusting the color scheme to make it easier to focus on the five metro areas the authors had selected.
